Growing up running around corn fields with her two older brothers, Fran Devine has always been into sports…or at least physically challenging, verging on responsible activities. She played mainly volleyball in high school and junior college. When she transferred to The Ohio State University, she took a less organized approach to athletics. She dabbled in various clubs and classes (kickboxing, swing dance, yoga, ballet, ect.) to supplement the usual cardio/weights routine. After college, Fran and her husband got the grand tour of the Mid-West compliments of the Army and she took advantage of the gyms they offered. After growing bored of the cardio/weights combo, her neighbor convinced her to do a free trial CrossFit class. Before long, she drank the Kool-Aid and has never looked back.
